Home video shows the moment a crash involving a Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station patrol SUV and two sedans occurred at a busy Newhall intersection. The crash, which is the second deputy-involved collision in less than 24 hours, occurred shortly after 3:30 p.m. when the patrol SUV conducted a U-turn in front of oncoming traffic. One vehicle traveling through the intersection of Sierra Highway and Whispering Leaves Drive on a green light broadsided the sheriff’s department SUV seconds before
