The IU Health LifeLine team performed 8,000 patient transports last year. Of those transports 4,000 involved critical care. LifeLine is the most comprehensive medical transport program in the state with 38 years of accident-free missions. This video features a patient flight transport originating from the Lafayette base, picking up the patient at a regional hospital, then transporting them to IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. There are five LifeLife bases throughout central Indiana.
