Last week I held an Adjournment debate in Parliament on the need to ensure sustainable local government finances. Lack of funding means fewer repairs to our roads - leading to more chaos. It means less funding for adult social care, resulting in bed blocking and more pressure on our NHS. It means less funding and support for schools and families trying to navigate the SEND system. Tougher Sentences. Last night I had my own Adjournment Debate in the Chamber. This is the first time an Ashfield MP has had their own debate for over 10 years.
