The National Aquarium’s new Harbor Wetlands in Baltimore is a great example of Maryland ingenuity. This project showcases how wetlands help improve water quality and provide habitat for wildlife. Visitors and city residents can walk the 10,000-square-foot floating wetlands for free. The wetlands are between the Aquarium’s two primary buildings and they now cover a portion of the Baltimore Harbor. Maryland Department of Natural Resources Sec.
