TURCOT SYNDROME PENYAKIT KETURUNAN & KANSER Sindrom Turcot ialah penyakit KETURUNAN yang jarang. CIRI-CIRI: gabungan pelbagai polip kolorektal adenomatosa, yang sering membawa kepada kanser kolorektal, dan tumor otak primer, seperti glioblastoma atau medulloblastoma. Biasanya muncul pada kanak-kanak atau remaja. Sindrom ini disebabkan oleh mutasi genetik, biasanya dalam gen APC atau gen pembaikan tidak sepadan (mismatch repair genes) seperti MLH1 dan PMS2.
