A man was shot and killed Tuesday afternoon on an upper level of the Rosslyn Metro station in a confrontation with Arlington police officers who were investigating a report of a man with a knife, the Arlington County Police Department said.

A person was shot and two officers were injured in an officer-involved shooting at the Rosslyn Metro Station Tuesday afternoon, Arlington County officials said.

The suspect who was shot by police at the Rosslyn Metro station early Tuesday evening has died. Arlington County police announced the still-unidentified suspect's death in a press release Wednesday afternoon.
