The new Premier League season begins on Friday, as champions Liverpool host Bournemouth at Anfield. Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea will be amongst those hoping to challenge Arne Slot’s side for the title while Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United will be aspiring for a vastly better showing than their last campaign.

Liverpool vs Bournemouth kicks off the new Premier League campaign at 8pm BST on Friday 15 August. With Premier League sides submitting their starting line-ups 75 minutes prior to kick-off, the FPL deadline will always be an hour and a half before the first match of the gameweek gets underway.
