The Cowboys have secured 18 commitments for their 2025 recruiting class. That group consists of three prospects from the state of Oklahoma and 15 out-of-state recruits. The Oklahoma Sooners wrapped up a disastrous first season in the SEC, going 2-6 in conference play and 6-6 overall. Brent Venables’ team was able to salvage bowl eligibility at the end of the year, extending the Sooners’ streak of bowl eligibility to 26 years.

It positions the Buckeyes well and in a spot to most likely host a home game in Ohio Stadium. If OSU remains in the same spot (there’s a good chance it does) after the last CFP Rankings are released Sunday, post conference championship games, there’s a decent change the opponent could be SEC foe, Tennessee.
