It's almost the weekend and the end of triple-digit temperatures for a while in North Texas. Thursday is another scorcher with highs around 102-103 degrees. The consecutive days of hot temperatures have prompted another heat advisory for the area from noon until 8 p.m.

A heat advisory remains in effect in North Texas on Thursday as temperatures will reach 103 degrees. Brad Paisley gave fans a night to remember when his latest concert turned into a full-on comedy sketch involving local police officers.

If North Texas does reach triple digits on Monday or Tuesday, it will be the latest first occurrence of 100 degrees since 2019, when the temperature was recorded on July 30. If North Texas fails to reach 100 degrees in July, it will be the first time since 2007.
