New York Yankees pitcher Marcus Stroman is now open to a bullpen role after injury setback as his rehab continues in Somerset.

KANSAS CITY — Just as Yankees reliever Jake Cousins finally was making big progress toward returning from a spring training forearm strain, the veteran right-hander has been shut down after two rehab outings with a new injury. His pitching elbow now is the issue.

With pitching injuries mounting, the Los Angeles Dodgers could be looking to trade for former MLB All-Star Marcus Stroman, now with the New York Yankees.
