Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) president Hemant Soren is all set to take the oath as the Chief Minister at 4pm on Thursday. The oath-taking ceremony will take place at Ranchi's Morabadi Ground on Thursday. With this, Soren will mark his fourth term as the Jharkhand chief minister.

Hemant Soren will be sworn in as the 14th Chief Minister of Jharkhand on Thursday. The ceremony will be held at Ranchi 's Morabadi Ground at 4:00pm with Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar administering the oath of office and secrecy. This will be Soren's fourth term as chief minister after he recently won the state Assembly elections.

However, Soren will be alone in taking oath on Thursday as none of the Cabinet colleagues have been decided yet. Jharkhand ministry can have 11 Cabinet ministers. In the last tenure, six ministers were from the JMM while four were from the Congress. One berth went to the RJD. CPI-ML, which has two MLAs, will support the government from outside.

Among key political leaders, Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge and Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi are likely to attend Soren's swearing-in ceremony.
