Edouard’s remnants continued to push inland over northeastern Texas early Thursday as it drags a tail of residual rainfall across flood-impacted communities of eastern Texas.
The National Weather Service issued a life-threatening flash flood emergency for Hardin and Tyler counties in southeast Texas Wednesday morning. Between 10 and 21 inches of rain have fallen, and the expected rainfall rate was between 1 to 5 inches per hour. "Seek higher ground now!" a NWS graphic states.
