Louisville Metro Police Department has now released video of a crash involving an officer that left a man dead.
LMPD Chief Paul Humphrey said Wednesday that the officer involved in a deadly crash on Fern Valley Road did not have her lights and sirens on at the time.
According to police, Officer Alyssa Begel was speeding on Fern Valley Road to assist with an emergency request for help from EMS crews just before 9 p.m. when she crashed into another vehicle.
