Penn State and Rutgers combined for over 1,000 yards of offense, with each team racking up over 500 yards each. Penn State running back Kaytron Allen finished the game with 226 rushing yards and a touchdown, and Nicholas Singleton added a pair of touchdowns while becoming the school's all-time rushing touchdown record holder.
