The Los Angeles Lakers released their injury report for Monday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets. LeBron James (left groin strain) and Dorian Finney-Smith (left ankle soreness) are out while Luka Doncic (back soreness) and Jaxson Hayes (right knee contusion) are questionable.

LeBron James is expected to be out of action for at least one or two weeks after he suffered a groin strain in the fourth quarter of Saturday's game. Forward Rui Hachimura continues to be unavailable due to a bout of patellar tendinopathy, and now forward Dorian Finney-Smith is banged up.

The Los Angeles Lakers were already thin up front following their trade for Luka Doncic. But now with the groin strain suffered by LeBron James, the Lakers will be without nearly their entire frontcourt rotation as they head to Brooklyn to face the Nets.

Center Jaxson Hayes (knee), forward Rui Hachimura (knee), forward Dorian Finney-Smith (ankle) and James (left groin strain) all sit out Monday’s game in Brooklyn.

In their first game with LeBron James nursing a left groin strain, the Lakers lost to a Nets team that entered Monday on a seven-game losing streak.

A lot of the attention has naturally gone to the Los Angeles Lakers trading for Luka Doncic that their acquisition of Dorian Finney-Smith has largely gone under the radar. Finney-Smith has made a big impact since joining the team though as his +162 plus/minus ranks second on the team behind only Austin Reaves.
