Vanity Fair will be parting ways with Olivia Nuzzi, the magazine’s short-lived West Coast editor, in an effort to extricate itself from a storm of controversy over her past romantic relationship with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the health secretary.

The Tony-nominated playwright and Vanity Fair contributor has reportedly been detained in Okinawa since mid-November.
