Toyota’s EV party has started. Much of it is linked to improvements under the skin. Toyota made a big splash in Europe last week with major upgrades to the bZ4X and Lexus RZ crossovers, as well as the debut of the new C-HR+.

Japanese automakers have treaded carefully into the EV waters, with companies like Toyota and Lexus taking their dear time releasing electric models. While the pair each offer one electric model in North America,

Toyota announced updates to its European EV offerings, including an electric version of the Toyota C-HR called the C-HR Plus, and a refreshed bZ4X that addresses many of the electric crossover’s shortcomings.
