Discovery" wrap up last year, a new season of the cherished "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" arrives this week.

The third season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds finally started this week, and its opener, “Hegemony, Part II,” picked up right where the last season left off. But along the way, it surprisingly ended up taking the Gorn—a Trek mainstay and the show’s longest-running threat—off the board.

This includes Season 3, which should be exciting as Pike and crew were successfully able to thwart the Gorn, and are pushing ahead to more encounters with creatures across the galaxy. And yes, Erica Ortegas will be along for the ride, but as Melissa Navia said, it'll be up to the Moretegas crowd if she's involved in the season enough.
