New Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has reportedly identified one of his old Brentford players as a 'priority' target and the club are 'determined' to land him.

Tel was originally signed on loan in January, with a view to a permanent deal under former boss Ange Postecoglou. Frank is said to have given the deal his approval, with Spurs making the move permanent, as Postecoglou had intended. Tel made 20 appearances in all competitions for Spurs in 2024-25, scoring three goals and registering one assist.
