DETROIT — The Detroit Tigers welcomed back former star pitcher Tarik Skubal Friday night for the first time since he was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers ahead of the 2026 trade deadline. Skubal made the start for Los Angeles to begin a three-game series in Detroit,

"I said I wasn't gonna be emotional, but I've come to figure out I don't really know myself that well," Skubal laughed.
