BERKELEY — A person was struck and killed by a BART train on Friday morning, creating major delays for travelers between Richmond and Millbrae, the latest in a string of incidents on the transit system’s line that have made it a tough week for riders.

BERKELEY — BART train service on its red line stopped Friday morning between Berkeley and Millbrae following what BART officials were calling a major medical emergency near Berkeley.
