The Oklahoma Sooners have experienced a lot of transition on the offensive side of the ball this offseason. They have a new offensive coordinator. Oklahoma will also deploy a new starting quarterback and a new group of pass catchers projected to start for Oklahoma in 2025.

Oklahoma is set to lose another wide receiver to the transfer portal. Andrel Anthony, who missed virtually the entire 2024 season while still recovering from an ACL injury, will enter the transfer portal, per Hayes Fawcett of On3.

Oklahoma football wide receiver JJ Hester has reportedly entered the transfer portal and will look to join a new program.

The Oklahoma Sooners will be replacing their top two pass catchers this offseason. Bauer Sharp entered the transfer portal earlier this week, and now, J.J. Hester has as well. Hester is the third wide receiver to depart via the portal this cycle, following Jaquaize Pettaway and Nic Anderson.

Half of the Texas losses in the portal so far have come at the defensive tackle position, which will also lose key players to graduation.
