The New Orleans Pelicans gave updates on two of their injured players Monday afternoon. Jordan Poole has been cleared to resume on-court activities. Poole missed the last 10 games after being diagnosed with a mild left vastus lateralis strain on Nov. 7. The team will provide an update later on when Poole will actually return to play in games.

The Dallas Mavericks continued the homestand with a home game, also an NBA Cup match, against the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday. The Mavericks defeated the Pelicans 118-115 at the American Airlines Center.
