Richardson eventually became the catalyst for the sixth win of the year on the final offensive drive, thanks to the eventual touchdown throw to Alec Pierce with less than thirty seconds to go, along with the two-point conversion to follow and place the Colts ahead.

The Patriots defense held strong as Richardson marched down the field, but the rookie made magic on the Colts' final down and found Alec Pierce in the end zone. Richardson then scored the two-point conversion himself.

Anthony Richardson converted three fourth downs, overcame two critical drops on deep balls and finished off the win himself.
