The Brooklyn Nets will be welcoming Mikal Bridges and the New York Knicks to Barclays Center for the first time since Bridges was traded.

This version of Mikal Bridges looks nothing like the one Brooklyn traded away, but his revamped role could be the key to New York ascending in the East.

Led by a strong showing from Karl-Anthony Towns, the Knicks outlasted a scrappy Brooklyn Nets squad in the battle for New York in a 99-95 slugfest. Towns led the way on offense with a strong 25 points and 16 rebounds along the way. OG Anunoby added 20 points along with Jalen Brunson 's 17 to go along the way.
