On November 19th one of the Vancouver Canucks more impactful players, JT Miller, stepped away from the game for a personal leave of absence. Since then one particular NHL team has sparked interest in the absent player.

The New York Rangers are having a tough time on the ice. The Rangers dropped their fifth straight game on Friday night. And there are legitimate reasons to be concerned about the Rangers at this current juncture.

The Vancouver Canucks have been without their leading scorer from last season, JT Miller, since November 19th as he took a personal leave of absence from the team.

The New York Rangers have "recently inquired" about a potential trade for Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller, according to The Athletic's Arthur Staple

Miller began his NHL career when he was selected 15th overall by the Rangers at the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. The 6-foot-1 center registered 72 goals and 172 points in 341 games with New York before being traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning in a five-player deal (that also included two draft picks) in February 2018.

A report from The Athletic has surfaced that says the New York Rangers inquired about the trade availability for Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller.

J.T. Miller is reportedly a player coveted by the Rangers as Chris Drury recently inquired about his availability in a possible trade.
