There were questions over whether the Grammys ceremony, the "Oscars for Music," would even go on as planned on Sunday after Los Angeles saw its most devastating fire disaster ever recorded - blazes that were only fully doused on Friday after burning for 24 days.

Since the fires began, the Grammys and its affiliated MusiCares charity have distributed $2 million in emergency aid and pledged more than $4 million to help those in the music industry impacted by the wildfires.

The Recording Academy says it's distributed more than $4 million to musicians affected by the fires. Sunday's Grammys show is meant to raise more.

The record is not likely to be beaten anytime soon — especially as this artist could snag as many as 11 more at the 67th annual Grammy Awards ceremony on Sunday.
