At least two people are dead after flash floods swept through parts of the Grand Canyon over the weekend, while one of their friends is still missing on Tuesday.

A flash flood in the Grand Canyon on Aug. 29 resulted in two confirmed deaths and one missing person.

Two men died in the flooding, and as of Aug. 31, one visitor remained unaccounted for.

Tropical Storm Edouard made landfall Tuesday at the Texas-Louisiana border, moving inland toward the northwest with gusty winds and heavy rainfall.
