Attorneys accused international security company Securitas of mishandling an investigation into spy cameras found in bathrooms on Expedia's campus.

Marcelo F. Vargas-Fernandez, a 42-year-old former Expedia employee, was charged with voyeurism after he allegedly placed two cameras underneath sinks in two all-gender restrooms on the campus between December 2023 and January 2024.

A new civil lawsuit seeks people who may have been victimized by hidden cameras in bathrooms inside Expedia’s sprawling Seattle campus.

The lawsuit comes after a former Expedia employee was charged with four counts of voyeurism following the discovery of bathroom spy cameras at the company's Interbay campus.
