As the NBA offseason draws closer, rumors surrounding the Boston Celtics are starting to heat up. Brad Stevens is expected to make changes to the current roster, primarily due to the approximately $500 million payroll the team is facing for next season once luxury taxes are factored into the equation.

The Celtics' trade outlook surrounding veterans Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday recieved a positive update.

Yahoo Sports' Kevin O'Connor believes that the Celtics don't want to trade Jaylen Brown and Derrick White, but will listen in on offers.

According to NBA insider Jake Fischer, the Kings are interested in kicking the tires on a Holiday trade. The Kings traded De'Aaron Fox last season. With the Kings in the market for a new starting point guard, Holiday could be the answer to their issues. They are a team that is caught in the middle, but they are still trying to win.

The Boston Celtics are going to be shedding ... which will be their ultimate goal. Plenty of Celtics have found their names in trade rumors, including guard Payton Pritchard.

According to Shams Charania, the Celtics' primary focus still revolves around moving Jrue Holiday, Kristaps Porzingis, and Sam Hauser.
