REVERE, Mass. — Non-union workers with Republic Services have expressed their desire to join Teamsters Local 25 as the sanitation worker strike in Massachusetts enters its 18th day on Friday. The workers are seeking a contract deal that would secure better wages and benefits amid ongoing negotiations between the two sides.
The oldest Little League program in Massachusetts has the chance in this, its 75th season, to bring home a state championship.
The teachers’ actions teaches students “that they can ignore rules that are inconvenient to their selfish goals," their lawyer said.
