Vancouver Canucks defenceman Tyler Myers was suspended three games for his aggressive cross check on Evan Bouchard, and while trying to defend himself, offered a lacklustre explanation.

Edmonton Oilers star Connor McDavid and Vancouver Canucks defenseman Tyler Myers have both been suspended three games for illegal cross-checks.

Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers has been suspended by the NHL Department of Player Safety for three games for crosschecking Conor Garland of the Vancouver Canucks in the helmet. Vancouver’s Tyler Myers was also been suspended for three games for cross-checking Edmonton’s Evan Bouchard.
