An NBA game, an NHL contest and dozens of college basketball games across a wide swath of the country are being reshuffled because of an approaching major winter storm.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The UConn and Vanderbilt women's basketball teams have set up a home-and-home series for the 2027-28 and 2028-29 seasons. The two teams will face off Nov. 14, 2027, in Connecticut.

UConn looks like the No. 1 overall seed as the NCAA women's college basketball season is 10 weeks away from Selection Sunday.

Friday felt like another reminder of how special this UConn run has been. With a win over Seton Hall, Geno Auriemma’s Huskies moved to 21-0 and 11-0 in conference play, but the night grew sweeter when South Carolina sent an upset to one of the best performers in the nation.
