Tage Thompson spotted Kulich in the left circle for a cross-ice pass off the rush, and Kulich beat Justus Annunen short side.

Jason Zucker and Ryan McLeod also scored for the Sabres in an outing where they allowed three straight goals after building a 2-0 first-period lead.

Kulich scored at 17:56 to give the Sabres a 4-3 lead. He raced down the left side, received Tage Thompson’s feed from the right point and ripped his second goal of the night – and 11th of the season – between Annunen and the near-side post.
