A Mexican drug kingpin who was depicted in Netflix’s gritty crime drama “Narcos” was arraigned Friday in Brooklyn — wearing the handcuffs that belonged to the DEA agent he was convicted of kidnapping,

Rafael Caro Quintero and Vicente Carillo Fuentes were “expelled” from Mexico Thursday to face justice in the U.S., including for the former’s alleged “masterminding” of the 1985

The White House called Caro Quintero “one of the most evil cartel bosses in the world” in a statement before his arraignment, where more than 100 Drug Enforcement Administration agents and other federal officials filled a large ceremonial courtroom.

Among those extradited is Rafael Caro Quintero, who was convicted of the 1985 torture and murder of U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agent Enrique "Kiki" Camarena. Camarena joined the DEA in 1974, the year after its founding.

Those extradited reportedly include Rafael Caro Quintero, long sought in the killing of a U.S. narcotics agent.
