The first time was in 2008, when the Lakers traded Kwame Brown, Javaris Crittendon, Marc Gasol and two first-round picks to the Memphis Grizzlies for Pau Gasol. The trade for Pau got the Lakers a championship.

NBA trade deadline is nearly upon us, and we have finally started to see some activity on the market. There will be more trades to come, but it doesn’t look like the Los Angeles Lakers will be making much of a splash.
