The National Weather Service has confirmed that an EF-0 tornado touched down in Lincoln Park, Michigan, late Thursday afternoon.
At 4:12 p.m. in Lincoln Park on Thursday, an EF-0 tornado touched down for about a minute along Fort Street near Memorial Park before tracking into the park and lifting near the park's Senior Center,
One tornado was confirmed by the Detroit National Weather Service in the Marysville area. Damage surveys underway in other areas.
Tornado warnings were issued for most of Southeast Michigan on Thursday, late afternoon and evening, as strong storms moved through the area.
Storms moving through Michigan are dropping "torrential" rain, the weather service said. At least one tornado warning issued.
