The St. Louis Cardinals hit five home runs, including a pair by Thomas Saggese and a two-run shot from Home Run Derby champion Jordan Walker, in a 13-8 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The St. Louis Cardinals showed some guys on Wednesday as they took down the two-time reigning World Series champs.

Saggese went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, an additional RBI and two total runs scored in Wednesday's 8-6 extra-inning win over the Dodgers.

Prior to Friday’s game, the Cardinals placed third baseman Blaze Jordan on the 10-day injured list due to a left ankle sprain. Utilityman Thomas Saggese was called up from Triple-A to take Jordan’s spot on the active roster.
