He won the British Open by four shots. He won the PGA Championship in May by five shots. He won by four in the 2024 Masters. Scheffler was five shots ahead on the final hole in his first Masters win in 2022 when he four-putted while simply trying to finish.

Scheffler not only won his second major this year — and fourth in the last three years — he captured the third leg of the career Grand Slam, now missing only the U.S. Open.

American Scottie Scheffler has won the 153rd British Open at Royal Portrush Golf Club in Northern Ireland. The 29-year-old is now one major win away from completing a Grand Slam.
