Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold launched

On Monday, Samsung announced the Galaxy Z TriFold, an oft-rumored foldable phone with two hinges and a gigantic inner display. It's coming to the U.S. in early 2026, and people are excited. However, Apple is also said to be working on a foldable iPhone, potentially set for launch in 2026, as well.
Samsung’s Galaxy Z Trifold brings a double-hinge setup, a shock-absorbing main display, and a slim inward-folding design that feels more practical than earlier foldables. It opens into a 10-inch workspace yet stays sturdy thanks to titanium-reinforced rails and a tougher composite back panel.
The Z TriFold operates Samsung's DeX environment in standalone mode without needing a secondary display, supporting three vertically aligned apps simultaneously.
Samsung finally made its trifold phone official. That's right, a trifold phone that's called the TriFold because it has three display panels with two hinges that fold out into a 10-inch display. That's a tablet-sized screen, the largest ever on a Galaxy phone, wrapped into a foldable smartphone.
