Ricky Hatton died on Sunday, September 14, with police confirming officers attended to his address at Bowlacre Road in Gee Cross, Hyde at 6.45am yesterday. The boxer's cause of death has not yet been confirmed.

Nicknamed "The Hitman," Hatton won the WBA, IBO and IBF light-welterweight titles and the WBA welterweight world championship during his 15-year professional career before retiring in 2012.
