When web services provider Cloudflare went down on Tuesday, a significant portion of the internet became unavailable.
Cloudflare noted a "spike in unusual traffic" before some of its services experienced an outage early on Tuesday morning, causing problems across the internet as users of major digital platforms, including X and ChatGPT, reported issues.

Rocky Mountain Power is reporting approximately 3,550 customers experiencing outages in or near West Valley City, Taylorsville, and on the west side of Salt Lake City.
