The Pokémon Company and Wallace & Gromit studio Aardman have announced on social media Wednesday that a "special project" that will launch in 2027. The press release says that this collaboration "will see Aardman bringing its unique style of storytelling to the Pokémon universe in brand-new adventures.

Aardman Animation, the studio behind the Wallace & Gromit, Chicken Run, and Shaun the Sheep, and Chicken Run franchises, is working with The Pokémon Company International on a mysterious new project.

The Pokémon Company and Aardman have revealed that they are collaborating with each other on a project that will release in 2027. It’s a team up that will apparently result in brand new adventures within the Pokémon universe, brought to life with Aardman’s unique style of storytelling.
