This electric crossover isn’t just for show. It’s fitted for the race track. Ford’s new Mustang Mach-E EV prototype

Pricing for the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E is out and cheaper by $4,000 in many cases, with the addition of a helpful new feature on all trims.

Ford has modified a Mustang Mach-E for Pikes Peak, but that is wrong headed, and that Ford should have instead used a more classic Mustang design for this race which would have benefited the lagging sales of more traditionally designed Mustangs.

The most powerful Mustang Mach-E you can buy today is the GT model. It has a dual-motor powertrain and standard all-wheel drive, a setup that’s rated at a stout 480 horsepower and up to 700 pound-feet of torque with the optional performance upgrade.

The top-selling SUV also gets a new self-driving capability and sport appearance package, but Ford declines to build the Tesla-backed NACS port into the vehicle for Supercharging.

Ford Mustang Mach-E is officially on sale, as the automaker opened order books on the mildly improved, yet also cheaper electric crossover today. Starting at $36,995 ($3,500 less than the 2024 model),

Here we go then, Ford ’s very first fully electric NASCAR prototype. It’s a Mustang Mach-E that looks like a good bit of fun.

The stock car has three motors and, like the unbranded demonstrator revealed last year, is built around the current NASCAR Next Gen chassis.
