Mikel Arteta has finally got his way after Arsenal sealed the £52million signing of Noni Madueke from Chelsea. The Blues’ bloated squad and willingness to listen to offers for the 23-year-old implied that the Gunners were simply taking advantage of a market opportunity by pouncing for the England international.

Arsenal’s latest transfer might’ve already given insight into how manager Mikel Arteta plans on using him at his new club.The Gunners signed Noni Madueke on Friday adding to Martin Zubimendi, Christian Nørgaard and Kepa Arrizabalaga as confirmed transfers this summer.

Madueke joins Arsenal from London rivals Chelsea in a deal that could be worth up to £52m if certain add-ons are met. The winger becomes the club’s fourth signing of the window following on from Martin Zubimendi, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Christian Norgaard.
