Baker Mayfield has always been an escape artist, a guy nimble enough to duck under sacks or shed tacklers to buy time to throw the football down the field. But backed into a corner the way he was in Sunday’s win over the Saints,

Baker Mayfield wanted more yards on one of his several scrambles so he lowered his head, leaned his shoulder forward and rammed into two linebackers. Whatever it takes to get the Tampa Bay Buccaneers into the playoffs.

The Buccaneers trailed the Saints 16-6, as they faced third-and-3 from their 42-yard line. Mayfield dropped back, couldn't find anyone open and decided to scramble. He ran for 10 yards then decided to slide. Unfortunately, his slide came a bit late and Saints safety Will Harris hit him really hard.
