Four hours, 37 minutes and two rain delays after the originally scheduled first pitch, the Orioles beat the Los Angeles Angels, 2-0, on Friday night.
Gary Sánchez hit a seventh-inning grand slam, Ramón Urías and Jordan Westburg also homered, and the Baltimore Orioles completed a three-game sweep with a 11-2 victory over the Los Angeles Angels.
The Orioles’ game against the Angels on Friday night at Camden Yards was delayed a second time in the fifth inning because of rain.
The Orioles are at the bottom of the AL East at 27-40, 15 games back of the division-leading New York Yankees. After sweeps of the Chicago White Sox and the Mariners, Baltimore has lost four of six against the Athletics and Detroit Tigers.
