Postecoglou says there is a ‘misconception’ about his demands on goalkeepers and is confident veteran back-up can play his football

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou has admitted Guglielmo Vicario’s serious ankle injury was a shock but has backed the squad to cope. The goalkeeper fractured his ankle during Saturday’s remarkable 4-0 win at Manchester City and will not play again until the new year.

Ahead of the game against the Italian outfit, there were four Tottenham goalkeepers training at Hotspur Way in front of the media. Journalist Alasdair Gold was able to capture the four keepers heading out to training with Tottenham fans left guessing who could replace Vicario.
