Former NFL defensive star Everson Griffen was removed from a Delta flight bound for Minneapolis from Chicago this week after becoming "unruly" during the flight. The four-time Pro Bowler's behavior forced pilots to ground the flight after a short return to O'Hare just minutes after takeoff, according to TMZ Sports .

According to Sports Illustrated, in May 2024, Griffen was stopped while driving 82 MPH in a 55 MPH zone by a state trooper, who later noted Griffen's BAC (blood alcohol content) was 0.10 percent, which is above the 0.08 legal limit.
