On the heels of the Emmy nominations reveal, the actress hopped on the phone to discuss her show’s good fortunes: “You never know how these things are going to go, and I'm so blown away.”
Shows hosted by Jon Stewart (“The Daily Show”), Stephen Colbert (“The Late Show”) and Jimmy Kimmel (“Jimmy Kimmel Live”) will compete for best talk series. Only three series were nominated this year, leaving “Late Night With Seth Meyers” and “Everybody’s Live With John Mulaney” out in the cold.
Nominations for the 2025 Emmy Awards were announced on Tuesday, and Severance led the way with 27 nods, followed by The Penguin with 24 and The Studio and The White Lotus with 23 apiece in the competition for television’s best shows and performances from the past year.

Other top nominees include new shows “The Studio” and “The Pitt.”
Though the actor is no stranger to starring in TV shows including in Modern Love, Made for Love and Black Mirror, which have all earned nominations, she admitted to keeping her jitters at bay by “purposefully keeping” her phone at the bottom of her bag, unchecked, until the nominations reveal ended this morning.

"Severance," "The White Lotus," and "The Studio" also all received 10 or more craft nominations. After that, nominations were spread out among Emmy hopefuls: “Andor” (Disney+) and “The Last of Us” (HBO) each received nine;
